Hi I am Wiskow,
Currently car less after the heat wave did in my last ride. Now I am seriously considering getting a Bug. The bajas, and custom truck bugs look really cool to me and I love the idea of making a customize car.
I am totally new to the bug/classic car world, but after seeing a ton of information on the web I am confident being a bug guy is the right choice. Plus I am in SoCal which I understanding is advantageous.
See you around the forums! |

Where in California?
What kind of driving will this car see? Daily? Freeway? Occasional? Usage and backup plans will determine if you enjoy or regret the decision! |

Los Angeles.
I tested many bugs this week and am liking this on 66 Baja with a hard sun roof. I would take it out on the weekends to the beach with freeway use, a camping trip to the backwoods, and errands around town. Backup plans? If the car has to get service and I am waiting on parts? I got a motorcycle and public transit.

A 1776cc is a good engine with extra power for the hills/freeway driving. If it drives good offer him $3000 cash and join us VW owners with daily drivers? You sure you don't want a squareback instead of a bug? |
