| Shipping is one thing, payment and accountability are another. I cant verywell fly 3000 miles to go get my money back in the event the other person dosnt follow though, well i suppose i could but it wouldn't be very practical lol. |

| I've bought a whole lot of things off individuals on forums. Almost all of the interactions went fine. The number of actual scammers is very low. If you pay with a credit card or paypal, you also have recourse if the seller doesn't come through. I've honestly had a higher percentage of issues of dishonesty dealing with professional businesses than I have had dealing with individuals shipping parts online. |

I'll say that I've been buying new and used car and motorcycle parts from sellers in the US, Canada and EU for years. Unfortunately, the worst experience I had was with a guy who lived less than 30 miles away from me whom I dealt with in person.
That's absolutely no guarantee that your transaction will go well but there's a pretty sturdy marketplace here on the samba and other places connecting folks with goods through positive long-distance transactions. |
