never occurred to me to look at this as a classified ad. and, yes, i pledged to get my copy of the book.

It would be a crying shame if content like this had no place here. Thanks Everett for stepping in.

Beautiful example of pure stock vintage vw! Amazing!
I love seeing stuff like this and I’m considering purchasing the book.

Where did you get those leather headlight / night time black out covers?
I love them! I would love to order a set or have some made for me for my 1953 split Zwitter.
Thanks.

Kind regards from Canada.

Bit late to the party but love this project and just pledged for the first edition. Can't wait to receive it!

I missed the kickstarter by a few hours. I didn´t realize that once the kickstarter ended the book is no longer available?

Are there photos of Paul Linke receiving his Volkswagen?

I'm hoping after they move these books they do a cheaper, softcover reprint.

While the subject matter is very interesting, I wasn't interested in the novelty of a pricey hardcover.

I would like to purchase a copy of the book. How do I do that?

Looks like the books have shipped! Can't wait to get mine.

So that this thread doesn't look like a promo for a book here are some photos of car 20 I took last year at Hessisch Oldendorf, Germany. This car is absolutely amazing and it gets driven too.

I received a notice from DHL a couple of days ago saying that the book was being shipped, but as of this morning the tracking still shows only that "shipment information has been received," but the package is not yet in their hands. I suspect that Mr. Brom is printing out labels as fast as he can, planning to drop off a few hundred books at one time when all are packed and ready.

I hope it gets to the US by Christmas! (I'd love it if it arrived on the 24th and goes right under the tree.) :D
