I have searched here and so far everyone says WW sells the bost looking tray.
Q1: if I go with WW do I need to drill holes?
Q2: anyone used one from Foreign Concept ( No screwing into the car at all):
https://foreignconceptsvw.bigcartel.com/product/new-vw-half-sheet-bus-roof-rack-extra-clamps-locks
I’m open for any recommendation please. |

| The explanation in the Add doesn't make much sense to me and the photo in the Add shows a hand holding the tray in place! |

Those trays are classic and let everything fall thru them too. I made my own for like ten bucks. Nothing falls thru either. A bonus is you can mount items to it also like a cup holder.

Just for kicks, since you identify "bamboo" in your title- can I concentrate on those?
The metal one you link is nice if you need industrial strength. What on earth are you putting under there you need steel to support? However, look closely at the threaded tabs that attach it to the car, then read below.
Yes, WW makes to best. If you are not handy, you will need to drill. If you are handy in the garage- you can brace the brackets and use bolts to tighten against the kick panels for a pressure fit- it takes a little creativity and less than a $1 in hardware. |

Good idea. Could you post a link to the magnets you used? Thanks. |

The WW is awesome. I used zip ties and adhesive zip tie anchors. Put a zip tie around the steering column too.
If you’re concerned about stuff falling through, cut clear thin plastic sheets to fit in the sections. |

WW has been out of stock of these for many months. And no answer after repeated emails asking when they'll have them back in stock. And I don't accept blaming the apocalypse as an excuse for anything. |

Then you might be out of luck. It has stalled production on a lot of stuff. Not to mention making shipping next to impossible. |
