I bought a set of speaker grille “cloth” from WW. They’re metallic silver-gray. What was the original color of the netting behind the speaker grilles? Pictures I’ve seen show them as anywhere from white to beige.
Anyone has some input?

They were silver (zinc plated, I would guess), but were flocked an off-white on the cabin side. This might give some more information:
