Exhaust/muffler system was blasted and painted with high temp paint and installed by the shop today.

Nice Thing! That's a sweet exhaust system. Can I ask where you got it?

I bought it from www.thingparts.com. It is DANSK brand. Im not sure that its available any longer. I had it blasted and then painted with high temperature paint.

Thanks! I see Jbugs sells a similar setup for a lot less than ThingParts.com that would likely benefit from a coating of heat resistant paint. Much nicer than some of those other exhaust options.

i paid 399.00 plus tax and shipping so it came to 437.99 but that was in march 2020 right before covid hit. it is a dansk version. i am sure costs went up everywhere on it though the jbugs one is probably similar.

ate lunch and while waiting for my friend in his Westie, the orange buggy stopped by. Then a purple buggy not shown came by. Later we met another Friend in the Gold Sun Bug convertible and cruised around more

Wow I've never seen a safari on a bay window! Must be some seriously mounted arms. Looks like a guy wearing a golf visor!

LOL great analogy! Yeah i think it is made in Brazil and he added a few custom touches to his mounting process. He has one on his not pictured red beetle also and customized that mount as well
