Anyone know where I can find a quality German body seal kit for a 1960 Karmann Ghia. I need everything since the car is just a shell. I found a kit on JBug but no indication if its German made. Also I am not looking for a "cal look" kit. I want the window trim. If you have any suggestions for other sources for quality parts for the Ghia I would appreciate that as well.
Thanks! |

Vewib seals are very good but I don’t think they do kits. Kgpr seals are also good and they do full kits |

West Coast Metric is a quality source for rubber too.

I don’t think German is in the cards. When I first restored mine back in 94 I was in the industry and German parts were rare to find. Of course the internet didn’t exist so they might have been out there but impossible to find.
That being said, most of the rubber on my car is West Coast Metric. I have KGPR seals on the rear quarter windows though as they fit the curve better. Not perfect, but better. |

I got all my rubber from CIP1.It all worked pretty well. They offer cheap or expensive windshield/rear window seals.I got the expensive ones which were German. |
