I'm trying to get my link pin rebuilt but don't know how to do it or where to take it. I've been told it needs to be pressed and reamed. I've looked up a lot of info on the net and talked to many people about the process but i'm still confused. Can anybody tell me if this is a project i can do myself or is it best to find a shop to do it for me? I've called a few places around my area and was quoted like $180 or around there. Seems a little steep. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

You can replace all the parts yourself and if you buy a .710 diameter reamer you can even ream the bushings yourself then reassemble it.
The Bentley manual has the instructions. It's not too bad a job if you are not afraid to swing a hammer. |

Where can I pick up a .710 diameter reamer for a reasonable price? |
