Cool! I haven't seen the movie yet but that sounds like it is the bus that he imported from Austria about 2 years ago..
I guess the previous owner would have never thought that his bus could ever be seen in a Hollywood movie. :)

I just watched Ford vs. Ferrari and I think this same Barndoor Kombi was in the movie at a couple points.

It was parked across the street at a Surf Shop in a few shots.

It's Subaru powered

Too far away for me to tell, but it is the same color. This one appears to have something on the roof.
