I'm going to be flushing my brakes with the same colorless Dot 4 fluid. It would help to know what the volume of the brake system is, so I can try to flush out an equivalent or greater volume to ensure all the old fluid has been replaced.

| 500 ml is usually adequate. Drain the reservoir with a syringe first so after the first few pumps there's nothing but new fluid chasing out the old stuff. |
