I am looking for information on this bus emblem. Probably from an ambulance or fire bus or even a log bus. Would like any info on it including photos of it on a bus if possible.
Thanks
Erick

Never, EVER seen that one before. Although well-done, almost certainly hand done and adapted by someone to maybe clear some item mounted to the nose above it? I donno...

That is an emblem often used by members of the 5' 2" VW club for men. Not sure if they are around anymore. |

I will do a side by side comparison of it and a regular one when i get it. I went thru over 100 pages of photos here on the samba and nothing found.
Could be just a custom one off or possible made by a bus conversion company that did logos or maybe fire and ambulances. Search continues... |

I searched but couldn't find it. What about that single cab that has its passenger side cabin removed and the bed extended along that side to carry long poles?
I cant find a damn pic to save my life, but Ive seen it. |

Yea I’ve see it one time many years ago but can’t find it either. The half cab pipe truck has a normal emblem. I think it is cut down for words on the front of the bus. I did find someone on Facebook that said he has one hanging up nd though it was just one cut down. He is supposed to take a photo of it for me. Mine should be here later in the week or next so I will post detailed photos of it 😁 |

Seems they used a regular emblem to make this one but did a great job of making the edges look nice. |

Unless someone cut the threads. I did so on an OG emblem, 5mm x .8mm I believe, and then used SS wing-nuts to secure. Got the idea from one of Bill Bowman’s threads, if Memory serves me. Saved a metric shit-ton of time and effort to install by myself. |
