Hey everyone. I need new tires for my 82 westy - it turns out mine don't have reinforced sidewalls. There is plenty of info for 14" rims but I've got 15". Any recommendations? My local tires store suggested Khumo 205/65R15 but I've never heard of them.
Also, I have a small leak in the pop top, right over the stove. What's the best way to fix it?
Thanks for any advice. |

whether 14 or 15, the size is more important. Sounds like your shop gave you good advice, the smaller the tire, albeit if they were 185 or 195's would give the engine some r's,
taller tires, 205 etc is a good choice, I personally would go with 60's, but they can get pricey...
have the front end aligned  |

When you go to the 65 series tires you will discover that you have lost a lot of sidewall and with it your reason for having the reinforced sidewalls. Less flex.
I run 215/65/15 Michelins and like them and the speedo is pretty close to what it should be. Handle well also. Very stable. Check out the Hydroedges. Interesting. |
