Don't count on it. Our government just released the numbers for Canada's first year with legal weed. The losses were astronomical.

Governments are the only organizations on earth capable of loosing money selling drugs!!

Are the weed companies actually losing money or is it the investors who stupidly tried to take positions in the market that are bleeding?

You don’t expect any company in a growth market to be black in year one. That’s the exception.

Friends deep in the cannabis industry have explained it to me that the majority of dispensaries are paying the owners and managers through management contracts that are run through third party companies. It lessens liabilities and typically shows the dispensary loosing $$ in the first few years. The IRS here in the good ole USA wont accept most typical expenses as they do in a noncannabis company. Anything seen as trafficking is not a write off. These companies jump through a lot of hoops to generate write-offs and store money and attain product while remaining under the radar.

Only true if the number selection is a true random process, which it is not. At least not to a mathematician. It is random to normal people.

It made my day when I went through TSA at ,y local airport , and the agent called for a ‘pseudo-random’ screening when the buzzer went off. He and I had discussed this before.
