I am visiting your wonderful country of Australia again, staying near Newcastle, NSW. The VW culture is alive and well in Australia for sure! Hoping the summer doesn't bring more fires, fingers crossed.
While I am here I am trying to source period correct tail lights for my '56 Oval Beetle project. I have advertised on Gumtree and a Classic VW site but so far no joy. I think I have missed the swap meet season, but still optimistic that I can find the tail lights while here.
Please help me out with any leads, or just to say G'day! Would enjoy all pics of your projects.

Tom, on Dec 8th in Southern Ca. Has the Pomona swap meet , which a lot of people swap VW stuff among awhole lot American steel. Covers alot property., other than that che k community here on the samba. Check the classifieds

Have been seeing some really nice vintage VW's on this trip to Australia. The climate seems to be kind on the metal, as they are in pretty good nick.
Hope to find the Oval parts I need while here visiting. |
