… is this a barndoor ignition switch, as advertised - the key looks too new - Any details?

I don't recognize that as anything VW.
It's definitely not a Barndoor ignition they use the tiny ignition in the pod.

Yes, same sort of pod and switch.
A key, then a P profile key... I assume it changed the same time as Split Bugs did. |
