Sanity D'oh #-o, the Rants went away! :P

Believe it or not, still finding scarcity of paper towels and toilet paper  :-k. Still being rationed.

A year and a half ago there was a shortage of helium! Idk if there's still a problem now. It was kind of weird not having balloons at my sister's b day.

I've heard that blood is an issue. As well as most of cb performances products because they come from corona land.

Here home improvement stores have been ransacked. Lawn and garden taking a hit too. Folks channel that energy into something. :D

Garage door panels. I have to wait 4 weeks, said to be because of demand from states shut down due to virus.

Garage door got bent/damaged when the rear glass of 2005 Yukon just exploded while garage door was open. Fortunately, that vehicle had full glass coverage, so no cost. That window was in stock in city 100 miles away.

Clear acrylic sheets, as they are being used as sneeze guards on all businesses.

Check with some of the mom and pop lumber yards if you have them. They likely offer KDAT pressure treated, which is Kiln Dried After Treatment. I used this on my last deck project and the decking boards came out so much better. The stuff at Loweís or HD is so freaking wet most of the time that once it finally dries, it moves and curls.

Change?!?! My wife went to the store and there are signs posted to use your credit/debit cards because there is a nationwide shortage of change due to Coronavirus. WHAT????

I wonder how much jar full of pennies is worth now? Maybe i could get 2 cents per coin. Then I could turn that change in for double! Endless possibilities!

That's just the "polite" way of telling you "We don't want your contaminated cash"

Agree - they want to minimize handling dirty money

If this is so why are they asking people to pay in change they have in piggy banks?

The overreach on this is ridiculous. You donít pick it up by skin to skin contact, and you canít touch your face because you are wearing a mask, right?

Right?

Thatís to protect me too,

Maybe a shortage of wood or pennies or common sense takes a back seat to this

This will have a larger effect on life as we know it. This should be front and center regardless of which side you are on. Itís called unemployment.

Yes, and combined with the unprecedented spending to mitigate it, which will affect the economy for a decade or more, this isn't gong away any time soon. I think we are entering a long period of little or no growth, decreased spending yet increased needs. Our expectations are still way too high, looking at stock figures.
