View original topic: AC High Pressure Adapter Location? HELP!

Silly question, I think, but I am trying to put a vacuum on my AC as I had it apart for a short period of time. The YouTube videos I have watched say I need to attach the low pressure hose to the low pressure adapter, which you can see I have done in the pic, and then attach the high pressure hose to the high pressure adapter. However, I can't for the life of me find where the high pressure adapter is located? I looked in the Bentley, and is shows it should be obvious but I can't see it.

Am I just blind or is there not one on our beloved vans?

Not sure what setup you have but on my '87 westy the high pressure adaptor was inside the D pillar cover inside the rear closet.

I don't know how critical it is, but the compressor looks to be installed with the wrong ears. Normally the fittings are vertical to each other and the fill plug and clutch harness are on top.
