Do you grease splines on the rear torsion bars when installing? And if you do what type of grease? Thanks.

I always coat them generously with copper based anti-seize. Coat the splines, slide the bar in and out a couple times, wipe off the crud and recoat the splines, then assemble. Works good.

Wear gloves with the anti-seize, a thimble full will coat the Empire state building!
When I worked at the race track in Vegas we had a boss hole we hated, one of us [not me] put a dab on one of the handles of his luggage when he was going on a trip for the company, by the he got there his whole hand was silver  it was quite humorous!

I also always use anti-sieze on both ends of torsion bars. Grease works too.
