Hi, Can you guys share a pic of how the center mount is oriented? No matter how I spin it , this hole does not line up. Is there a bracket missing between these two?

Goes like this:
(not tightened down).
Loosen the 13mm bolt that holds it together, then you can sort of move it around to fit through your air cleaner.
Give us a wide shot of your setup. If yours is that far off, seems like something else is going on. |

That air cleaner looks like it might be the paper element type that VW sold in the official "conversion" kits for FI cars for awhile. If memory serves it took its own center mount that came in the kit. I think this was a VW do Brasil y Mexico cleaner that they supplied.
Fabricate a little metal plate with two holes in it and use a nut and bolt to fasten it to the air cleaner, then mate it to your engine mount. Paint it black.
If I am seeing the cleaner wrong update us here. |

| I had the case bracket bolted on backward. I flipped it around and Voila! Now it lines right up. Thanks gang! |
