View original topic: How do I screw this back in?

'87 Westy. Noticed this morning I've got a screw loose(!) on the right side, in front of the back tray. Note how the tray is leaning to the right. Removed the face plate, but not sure how to get to the screw from here. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Your going to need to be innovative. That bolt is installed prior to putting the lower cabinet into place. I recall a Philip’s head fastener. A flex screw driver or a 90 ratchet screw tool. I purchased both from harbor freight for my canvas top project.

Or, take the bolt out and match it to a hex bolt and a swivel socket and you might be golden.

Some DIY fellers love a good fight like this.

Maybe replace it with a much longer M6 allen screw,
adding a tube spacer that places the screwhead down lower to an accessible location.

With a holesaw, cut a large access hole in the bracket?
Be careful that the pilot drill point doesn't damage the copper condenser tubes.
