Hi,

I have owned a 85 Westy with my brother for almost 10 years. It has changed my life and I can't live without. My wife and I recently moved from California to Martha's Vineyard and my brother bought me out of our van so I could find one on the east coast.

I am looking at a Syncro in Post Mills Vermont and was wondering if anyone had a mechanic recommendation in that area for a Pre Purchase Inspection.

The van has a GoWesty 2.45 engine installed and I was wondering if people have any experiences with ownership that they are willing to share. I have purchased a lot of products from GoWesty for my old van, but never had any experience with their engines. My prior van had the original 1.9L engine which we upgraded to a Subaru 2.5L conversion when it died.

I appreciate your help as I look forward to adding another van to my family.
