Get some freezing spray or co2 fire extinguisher. Freez it and it comes off OK when brittle. |

Everything I’ve seen is that if they’re still firmly glued on, the pans are usually not horrible. |

If you are talking about the gluey residue left when the insulation or tar boards are removed, try spray on oven cleaner.
Leave it for a few hours until you end up with a crusty, powdery layer and it tends to scrape off very easily. At least it did with mine. |
