folks,
i'm refurbing a 78 westy and looking for advice on how to clean the inside of the door panel. how do i get it squeaky clean, what products to use and how do I get to all the tiny places in there?

| Elbow grease and some acetone, depending on if you want to remove the paint or not. Red or green scotch bright pads are your friend. |

| Looks like a job for a pressure washer, maybe some degreaser first too. |

What de-greaser would you recommend? I'm keeping the paint, will be taking care of the rust |

| Acetone isn’t too hard on factory paint. Mineral spirits work too. I have found that Dawn in hot water works well too and is less toxic. It’s the elbow grease that does the most. |

I like the POR-15 product called Marine Clean. It gets all the grease off. After rinsing it all off, you can hit the rust with Ospho or something. |

| I was redoing the vapor barrier as per Colin’s (Amskeptics) procedure and used goo gone or goof off (Forget which) to get the old adhesive and gunk off. It worked well after letting it dwell for a minute or 2. |
