I've been thinking about trying a cable shifter after a few attempts at it with a solid link. Mine works perfect until I hit the sand and the bronze sleeves get all gummed up. Tried rubber boots and hose clamps but the sand always seems to find a way in. Anyway...
Has anyone tried the Cable-SHiFT C-S 091 S? from cableshift.com? How do cable shifters shift in general?
I didn't even know they had one until I emailed inquiring--sells for $689.95 plus shipping
Thanks!

It would be easy to make a cable shifter for a side shift box. 1 cable front to back and 1 going sideways from shifter across the trans to the linkage. |
