I ran the camber compensator for a few years on mine. I found I didn't really need it with the car lowered. It does pull it down when you mount it, an inch or so on the ride height.
on a stock height car I can see the need, if you've ever driven behind one and watched the rear wheels when you hit bumps.

After input from W1K1, I settled for a "new" empi style (pushes up on the axles). I actually have the CB one too (with straps), but with it lowered a little, it actually pulls down, raising the car back up. Someone here has a lowered gia or type 34 they used the CB on and bent the spring to fit well. I run the KYB gas a gusts which raise the car a little, so the empi helps keep it flatter and takes a little of the firmness out.
