OK so I am thinking about replacing my vinyl headliner in my 84' tintop and wondering if anyone has takin on this challenge? Im needing all the help I can get. Im unable to find any info with anyone thats done this. I know I will be taking out the AC unit along with all the windows. While Im at it will replace all the window seals also. Ugh! Let me know when you can.

| It should not be that hard but it is time consuming. Get some good pictures before you remove the old one. Once you remove the old head liner and take care of any problems in there you hang the new head liner by the metal bows and start gluing the new one in a little at a time. I use spring clips to hold it in place on one side as I glue the other side. Then I work one part of one side then the other so I end up with wrinkles. I hope that helps. John |
