Frankly this was bugging me a lot. After disassembling the hinge I was really disappointed to find out these copper inserts are the cause...
I could not find any within a reasonable range of me and on a normal price, so I decided to improvise.
Hopefully someone finds it useful:

| oil the hinge frequently to reduce wear of the parts. Ounce of prevention, pound of cure. however if the parts do wear, this is a reasonable bandaid. but that worn bushing will allow the pin to wear on the hinge itself but again, frequent lube will minimize this. |
