| How do you set the timing on the 2.5l engine. Bentleys says you need a special machine. Can you do it with a standard strobe? PO buggered the allen bolts on the distributor, need to get them replaced first. Also what does the mark on the flywheel look like. Only thing I have found is a gold colored nub. |

While I am certainly not an expert on setting timing...Thomas EXOVCDS does have some nice videos on the 2.5l timing on his youtube page, which might at least give you some good baseline to work from...
