Hey guys, I was wondering who is or are the mods on the Facebook page. Holy shit does it look like there is an agenda there. People were complaining up a storm about the mess. It sucks that that page is associated with this forum....or is it even?

I don't see anything weird when I checked the page.

There is a Group on Facebook, I think it is called "The Samba VW Classifieds."

We are NOT associated with this and I do not know the person who runs it
It has NOTHING to do with this site.

I have gotten a few complaints about people getting kicked off there or abusive behavior in that group.
I can't control it, complain to whoever runs it or to Facebook itself.

Yeah the classified one, people think it is from this page, might want to complain with FB to have the name changed. Bad rep

I have no idea how to report it and have anything actually happen.
I went to go report it but there is nowhere to enter any comments, only to pick a default reason, none of which apply to a unauthorized name usage.

Several people have told me they have reported it multiple times for abuse, with no result.

Go ahead and do that too, if possible.
Maybe they need a series of reports to take action.

Wow, I'm glad I stumbled on this thread. I always wonder why it gave me a weird feeling, like something was off or different then this site.

Thanks for this info. I followed both groups because I assumed (I know ass out of you and me) that they were both connected to here. Time to leave Samba classified.

There's actually a third "Samba" FB group, the Samba VW Enthusiasts, run by coasttocoasttransport.com.

Very confusing...glad someone pointed these out
