  View original topic: LED bulb spec for center display warning light for Sub MIL

This would be in the center dash "christmas tree" warning lights. I have a unused socket below the charge/batt and want to locate my subaru MIL / CEL using a similar red LED but I dont know the specs for this bulb. I do know the ECU throws the ground signal if / when it trips the MIL. This is a 91 EJ22 engine. Is this a 12V bulb or a 5V bulb or...?? Can someone please tell me? I dont have a OX2 slot because this is a Canadian spec van and I want to preserve the idiot light ((i)) function.

I guess they are still all 12V, now that I think about it more since the ECU actually completes the ground, not the hot (+)

12v. The temp gauge and fuel gauge are oddly enough 10 volts, but everything else is 12v.
