Step 1. Look where the MC connects to the pedal. Pull back the rubber boot. Wet? Bad MC.
Step 2. Look at the MC under the car. Feel the brake line connections to the MC and the one from the brake fluid reservoir. Wet? Hopefully all you need to do is tighten the connections, but not too much.
Step 3. Now start looking elsewhere, as it seems the work you did on the MC is not the source of the leak. Check wherever you did something to the brake system. At the wheels? At the tees in the lines? Also look along the tunnel along the floor under the driver's seat from the MC all the way to the back. Maybe in replacing the MC you caused just enough stress in the line to cause a rust spot to spring a leak.

Maybe you didn't tighten the brake lines, or the brake switches enough? Can you tell where it's leaking from? I use teflon tape around the threads on the brake lines and switches, with good results. Did you re-use your existing brake-light switches, or buy aftermarkets? I've heard of brand new switches leaking out of the box, but if you see a puddle under your car, I would suspect a major leak. At least one that is noticable. You might be able to identify it by checking out the master with a flashlight while somebody pumps on the brakes.

Good luck.

Check for cracks at the resevoir especially at the bottom ,and for wet blue lines as well.
