Together with two friends, I bought a road lane painting machine ;-)
It has an industrial engine and AT gearbox. It was not used for a long time. Since it does not have painting equipment, we plan to convert it into a kind of off-road tractor.
Is there any owner of such an invention here? |

Was any alcohol involved in the purchase of this fine piece of equipment? I find that friends and drinking result in questionable results lots of the time. The folks over on the vintage side of this site would remind you to leave it as close to "as found" as possible. I can send you a broken fan belt and a bent pully for the restore. |

What’s surprising to me is that it doesn’t have vw front suspension. Cool and interesting find, though. |

You guessed it, it was a late night decision at a VW meeting, can't remember after which beer :D
There was an idea to bring the weirdest vehicle to the whole meeting for next year.
We are definitely not planning a full reconstruction, this piece of scrap metal is to be scrap, but fully functional and functional. The pulley has long been replaced

And how does it twist this strangely ;-) |

In general, the condition of the vehicle is not bad, it just looks like this ;-).
The engine is in excellent condition, after changing the oil, minor adjustments and cleaning the carburetor, it fired from the first time.
The drive chains were at their worst and they were completely rusty and not moving.
I did a new electrical and brake installation. I also cut off any unnecessary metal parts.
This is what it looked like after the first works.
And this is a video from the first rides.

The project has not been abandoned, work is ongoing.
A new electrical installation was made, I installed the lights from the tractor.
The brake system has also been repaired, a new pump and new hoses.
The engine can be fired with the crank.
I also installed a cargo box and a tow bar.
Everything is nicely washed and the rusty engine covers painted with clear varnish. :D |

Well, unfortunately, I can't change anything, the vehicle has been sold. And here's a short video from the VW Garbojama 2022
