Wife (French citizen) and myself (US citizen) are thinking of making the move to France. I don't think shipping will be too difficult, I am in SoCal, but would anybody be willing to share experiences/info on the importation, customs, taxes and especially the registration process? I'd really love to bring my 1960 bus. Cruising south France would be awesome, but if it's a terrible pain I may leave it in storage. Any help would be appreciated!

Never imported from the US myself but I know there is loads of imported cars driving around here.
You might want to give these guys here a call https://www.vintageautohaus.com/
They import on a regular basis, know whats necessary etc |
