Putting my 62 back on the pan the captive nuts/plate on the drivers side above the Napoleon hat seem to have disappeared. Just to be clear I'm talking the 2 bolts that go into the end of the Napoleon hat. Body isn't rusty, didn't have trouble removing the bolts, can't see anything with an endoscope in the bolt holes. Body was never rotated so don't see how the plate could have fallen out or where it could have gone.
Any options other than cutting an access hole and then welding it up? |
