Welp, it's been a while since there is any update on the JG 67.

I opened the front door this morning and was greeted with the strong aroma of raw fuel wafting through the air.

I really don't want to remove the fuel tank and have a look but, it appears that I'll have to.

Frenchroast stated this morning, that he had de-rusted the tank, installed a new filter sock and replaced the fuel lines.
That said, it still stinks and needs looking at.

The bitch of the job is, the diesel heater is mounted above the fuel tank and needs to be removed before I can get to removing the tank. Ugh!

I'll report back on what I find. I'm just bitching out loud. Lol!

Just go in from the passenger front wheel well, you should be able to do anything you need to do from there without removing the heater and tank?
You can jack it up and pull the wheel off too if you need more elbow room…
Unless you already know you need to repair the tank I guess..?

Thanks. I have many options for getting to the fuel lines.

It really wasn't a question as much as, complaining out loud about a task I really don't wanna do. :?

It took me nearly 10 hours last week to swap headers from a CB cheapy header to my CSP EVO Comp that was just sitting in the garage looking for a car to be installed on.
I could barely walk the next day after that thrash.
