Another Boyz in the Hood product.

That car was for sale here in colorado about 2 months ago. No one would touch it.

Suprising how these things get around.

skeetbug Thu Jun 24, 2004 8:19 am

Any one know why it wasn't touched? Some differ wheels and interior this car wouldn't be bad.

Muffler Mike Thu Jun 24, 2004 8:23 am

could be on a 71 pan

its on a '71 pan and is registered as a '71, it is a real oval.. I dont trust fresh paint jobs etc, if they had to remove this from its original pan because it was so rusted out, i'll gaurantee its had major rust issues and with the getto look , the metal has prob. been mickey moused to look good for now, attitude..

With that said, and if i had the money if the car was local to me in cali, i would be one to bid. Although anything over 2000 would be way out of line.. Since there is a lot of work to do.. and can you trust the work thats been done??

my 2cents, for sicksense.

Glenn, thats what I was thinking. Nice headliner. Maybe if he'd have saved a couple bucks on the fancy (UGLY) rims and tires, he could have gotten a can of spray adhesive.

I LOVE this quote from the eBay ad...just shows this seller is REALLY paying attention isn't he? Tahoe? WTF?

Yep, That car was for sale here in Denver. I saw it at one of those iffy used car dealers and stopped to take a look. It has new pans but I didn't look much further. It would have taken waaaaaay too much to put it back to what it should be. Selling price was $8,000. Interesting to say the least!

I should add that my wife was with me when we checked out the car. She spotted it and made us stop and take a look. After we were done, she commented that I should get an oval. Wahoo! Later that night we purchesed the oval ('57 ragtop) in my avatar off of the Samba. Since that night, I think she spends more time on the Samba than I do. Thanks dear!

You want to trade wives?

As my husband mentioned, I am on the Samba more than he is. He is very generous, just gave me a '65 vert, so I guess I'll have to keep him! Thanks for the offer though. Mrs. CO13WINDOW

'63 VWnotch' is right about the pan. The gear lever position, foot pedals and seats give it away. The doors are not straight and the headliner alone say there ismore wrong here than you can see.
