I found this on my newly acquired 85 Vanagon. Looks like a potentiometer - dimmer for interior light? Fuse?
Anyone know what this is? Not in any of my manuals but looks stock.

fridge/sink fuses.
knob is not a potentiometer - its a screw to open the fuse box.
I recommend you purchase a Bentley manual if you havent already. |

| Interestingly, my 1987 Syncro Westy didn't come with that box, but it also didn't come with the fridge since it was tossedout by the previous owner when it stopped working (I'm guessing perhaps the PO also removed the fuse box?) |

Thanks all! I do have the Bently book but missed this in my scan 'cuz I was looking for a pic.
I don't find the Bently book easy to use. Still haven't found info on the speedo cable but it must be there somewhere! |

The Samba has a whole technical section where a lot of info can be found. That's where the camper supplement is where I found the page.
