Size is the killer. I dont know how the deck lids were packed but you can get the seven in a kinda tight box.....much less than two fenders. They will weigh more than the fenders but they are concerned with girth. Again, I have experienced trucking firms that have delivered loads with very little in an enclosed trailer, driving from west to east coast. I asked the driver if he was local, he said no and reported to me he left California with just a little more than what we saw on his truck. If you want to lay any blame on these people, it is the BROKERS. The ones who make most of the money, and not the drivers. It probably cost this poor driver more to deliver the goods than he made, but thats another story. Anyway , while it makes no sense to me, especially "girth" when you are traveling with a "short" load......blame the brokers, and AMAZON who ships everything for "FREE" (you and I indirectly pay). |
