So it looks like I’m missing from the hinge outward. Is that one you have an extra you might want to sell?

Sorry, no. Will keep an eye out for a spare one. The front frame would be super easy to make. The hinges and latch a little harder, but not that hard to fabricate up.

Might be some kind of cowboy hat holder?
How strong is the spring to pull down on? Do you have a fish scale you could pull on it with?

My first guess is umbrellas. Could they have even made the wet stains?

The water damage it from the sub hatch leaking and no I don’t have a way to text but it does have some good resistance on it

Unfortunately no but I plan on buying the original material to get them done

I meant the water stains on the driver (left) side of the roof there. It almost looks like where the top of wet umbrellas were. The handle end was on the hatch side.

Skateboard holder?

Tim MacDonald Thu Dec 15, 2022 8:16 pm

Back at it today. Got the interior stripped out and cleaned up. Got my son to take the seat brackets to shop class in high school and blast them. Not to start patching it up

Weld up the seat belt holes while you are at it. Need the proper placed holes and reinforce them.

Looks like some sort of drying rack.
All these rear seat photos are great, mine is missing because the prior owner didn't like how dark the pearwood was so ripped it all out and put in a later bay window interior.

Well I have some metal coming next week so hopefully can get back to working on the bus. In the meantime does anyone know what this hole is for? Ps: not sure why my hand is purple in the pic.

Thank you, chair hold down clamp. I’m replacing that section of floor so deciding if I need to save it

Save it if you can. Even without the folding chair it is a neat part of the design and history. Plus later when you find a chair in original or close enough, you can install it with the clamp.

Does anyone know where to get the offset T molding for the cabinets. All I can find is the centre profile. If it’s not available I was thinking about buying over sized centre profile and trimming it down

Think I've seen those racks in old cars holding fedora hats, upside down
