| i am missing my rear seat back 67 bug convertible, can anyone post pictures of correct seat, the one i was given is too short where the tabs are at bottom? i think they need to be longer-- please advise thank you in advance |

Here is a pic of a '67 convertible rear seat set, out of the car. A little rough around the edges, but original! The upper seat in the picture is the backrest, with the tabs visible. The later 70's backrests have shorter tabs.

You can use a 68-70 convertible back seat just remove the locking rod on the back rest otherwise the same seat…Chuck/Chucks Convertible Parts |

anybody knows if a short tab backrest can be installed in pre 70 cars ??
otherwise , can the tabs be enlarged via tig welding a piece ?? |
