Hi,
Could we have a search option at the top of the window for the "new ads" selection? Then we could refine all new ads results for specific things.

Top of what window?
There is a "New Ads" menu selection in the classifieds drop down menu, this is at the top of every page. |

The proposal is to add a search function to the "new ads" section, so there would be a link to the search function, just like there is when you drill directly into a classifieds main category:
Then one could quickly search new ads for something specific. |

Ok, I understand.
I added it, please check it out and let me know if there are any issues.
It's going to work the same as the boxes in the individual sections, which means it's searching ALL ads, not just the past 2/7/whatever days.
But if you are searching from a New ads screen (New Ads only/New Cars only from the menus), it will be sorted with the new ads on top, so the past 2/7/whatever days ads will be on top.
The link you posted above:
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/newads.php
is "All Recent Ads" so this is all the ads, sorted by when they were last updated.
It will search this too but the search results will be with the latest updated ads on top. |
