Hiya,
I've read tons of threads but never found this issue ...
Got the truck back from the body shop and it's been a war fixing the stuff they screwed up while putting things back together. Long battle today - no lights at first working but found the unhooked steering column plug needed plugged in. It was stashed up under the dash in a wad. But only one side of each light is working... I have SA lights that have worked for the last 9 years. Clean grounds.
Ideas?
blinkers work, running lights work (license plate lite doesn't), flashers work.
On another note - my 7" rounds are installed upside down and guessing they have been for their lifetime. Is that screwing me on the brightness factor?
Thanks! |

I guess you need to check everything!
Bulbs
Fuses
Relays if applicable
if these are good, get a voltmeter and diagnose.
Regarding the upside-down headlight, I assume the 7" is the one doing hi-beam and lo-beam. Which means you were kindly illuminating the night sky for all these years! Maybe you're a running gag up there on the ISS, who knows... |
