Need an alternative to the Bosch blue coil... which is either out of stock or not available. Odd.

Assuming you are talking 12volt? I’m using the Pertronix Flamethrower with the Pertronix electronic ignition module.
For my 6v cars I bought a generic Chinese made one with internal resistor. |

For your 74? Probably not. What's the full Bosch number?
Are you looking for something functional or with the black one do you want a specific look? You can paint any coil and put Bosch stickers on them. |

The Bosch Blue Super coil was an epoxy filled one. There is no alternative from Bosch. If you are wanting to stick with OEM Beru is the next one. It is not epoxy filled and is oil filled. The price is right for this type of coil in comparison.

Looking for functional and not concerned about the look.
My Ghia uses points.
I've used Beru coils before... I thought the Bosch Blue was OEM |
