I drove to this event yesterday as spectator. Weather was perfect: sunny, low humidity, light breeze, low 70's. Thanks to CVA for holding the event. Here are a few photos.
1. Overall partial field.
2. Various VWs. The blue '67 Beetle in center is my friend Bill S', with 1776 cc dual-port, Kadron dual carbs, and 36 hp oil bath air filters.
3. Factory original colored Cliff green '75 Beetle is from MuzzcoVW which he fully restored and painted himself.
4. MuzzcoVW (Craig, on left) from Massachusetts and me. We met first time at the event.

5. Red '63 Beetle with owner-widened rims- 6.5" rear with 175 Michelin radials, and 5.0 front. Engine started out as 1200 cc 40 hp but he installed a period-offered 92 mm big bore kit (boring the case) to end up with 1702 cc. The engine has stock appearance other then an aluminum crank pulley.
6. Black '67 Beetle is 67ctbug's next to Jason's (5150mxVW) Sea Blue '66.
7. Very well done red '66 Beetle.
8. Red late '60's Squareback with dual Solex 32 PDSIT carbs.
9. Grey early 60's sunroof Beetle.
10. Rich B's red '64 Beetle with recently installed "bubble" style pop-out quarter windows. Allyn D and Bill S in background.
