I don’t know.

But since the lawsuit preceded the bankruptcy filing
my guess would be it is about work that was
done at the shop.

If anyone wants to drop some coin here is a link to the actual court documents

So - there was at least one customer
who claimed breach of contract with
damages of more than 75K.

Bankruptcy put that case on hold.

Another VW shop down the tubes -

Pretty soon, there won't be any left. I will settle for just the supply of parts -

Each will have to do their own work on their own cars.

That’s a good example of how quickly U.S. civil litigation can escalate, especially in niche sectors like custom builds where even one lawsuit can cripple a business. We had a similar experience with an import-related dispute that nearly tanked our operations.

What helped us navigate the mess was working with this legal team: https://federal-lawyer.com/business-litigation/international-litigation/. They specialize in international business litigation and really know the ropes.

As this was going down, at least two more shops, just in Alabama were starting up and growing. All hope is not lost.

Just watched a few seconds of video, do you have knowledge about work done by Riverbank? Didn't see anything in feedback section.

It's as close to me as Ive found, so I'm interested.

Thanks

I haven’t had anything done by them personally. I’m a do myself type.
I hang out with them and they’re super nice folks.
I can say that cars they’ve done have won awards at multiple shows.
I’m in Birmingham, where are you?

Tupelo, Ms.

I've been working on a Volksrod for a LONggggg time and have been doing everything from paint to engine building.

I have a couple touches I need help with, hence the interest. I'm ready to drive my project.

Thanks,
George

Shameless plug, but you could meet the Riverbank crew and see some of the cars they’ve built at my show at Tannehill State Park in McCalla, AL on August 23rd. volksjam.com

Good Idea! I'll be there!
