My Wife has a couple of those, big attitude in a little package, luckily they are small enough to push around, but the kicks still hurt. Ambitious as they are it'd be a mighty feat to make babies with a full size mare, they just aren't tall enough. :P
Cool little animals, not a pony but a real horse, just shrunken, she has them pull a cart and shows them "in hand" now and then (leads them around a pre determined pattern or over obstacles, prizes for those who behave). |

My wife had an uncle down in Jackson Mich. that raised miniature horses. Complete with downsizes buggies and wagons. Four-in-hand hitches. They are a "BIG" deal in some circles. |

Wonderful miniature horse ranch near Los Olivos (of "Sideways" fame).
https://www.solvangusa.com/directory/quicksilver-miniature-horse-ranch/
New owners closed it to the public a few years ago; I'm not sure it has ever re-opened. Fingers crossed! |

Finn,Have u ever ate Horse meat? I lived in Europe    I cant say no I haven't had horse meat, but I haven't ordered it as horse meat,,, I may of in switzerland or kosovo..possiably italy, but probably not. if it was in kosovo it was a dam good horse. thats some possiably the best food/cooking/preparing/seasoning Ive ever had, if not the best that Ive ever eaten. witch reminded me of the time up in illonis with my now ex. we were eating out with her family/relatives in this small town, hillsbourough I think, and she got 3 or 4 slices of turkey. after eating it she said thats the strangest turkey Ive ever had. I just smiled and kept eating my roasted chicken. then her uncle asked her how the beef Toung was tonight......( he owns a meat packing plant there so it probably came through his place or was eating next door a few days before.) she smiled... and said it was for sure different. she was not a keeper, but my first daughter with her was/is.
as a kid I lived in japan( okinawia), vacationed in tiwan&phillopieans...who knows what Ive eaten or drank...but for sure no bud light. |

I have eaten it.....
About 25 years ago, we had a BBQ party at work. Dewey (Not his real name) provided the meat. Supposedly it was elk.
2 years ago, or so, we had a reunion in Las Vegas. Dewey was not there, but Cade (again, an AKA) let it slip, w/a grin, that the elk came from the "Res." It was road-kill.
I have no idea what it tasted like. |

Nothing wrong with road kill. Just eat around the tire tracks. |

Sometimes I think we might be better off eating road kill. At least then you KNOW what it died from. Animals that go through the auction and straight to the butcher shop... or sometimes just straight to the butcher shop... your guess is as good as mine...
A good friend of ours is a Veterinarian. We tease him "Don't even think of inviting us to a barbeque at your house!" We won't be there! :-&
A couple years ago I was given a deer by a hunter "Have too many," he said, "don't want this one." Ya - well - it turns out it was shot 4 times! By the time I cut off all the bruised and damaged meat and the bone splinters there would have been more usable deer if he had hit it with his truck! |
