Got a 70 Squareback, 4 speed, stock FI, have a red wire that runs with the oil pressure sender wire, have no clue what it is for or where it goes. See yellow arrow.
The Bentley does not show it in either the electrical diagram or the Fuel System section.
Any clues? Is it needed or was it a wire for an automatic model?

| Handy to repurpose as a tach feed, since it makes it's way all the way under the dash. You can find a similar clipped end there, somewhere near the fuel pump relay (which it plugs into on an automatic car, terminal 87 second tab, I think). |
