Hi Sambanistas. With Schwenk Syncro rear lift springs and GoWesty 2WD front lift springs (and T3 shims and tall upper ball joints/Burley upper control arm) the van rides at 19" on all four corners and aligns just fine. This allows me to easily run the 225/70/16 tires that work well with the 5.43:1 R&P in the DX 5-speed in the van. I'd prefer a linear rate front spring like Schwenk over the GoWesty progressive rate springs in order to reduce the slight dive that the van experiences in cornering.
Pretty sure that even with shims, the Schwenk 2WD option would result in about an 18" ride height. I could go with something like this with the Schwenks to get there:

but I'd prefer to find a set of linear rate springs that fit the 2WD front suspension architecture and yield a 19" ride height (or nearly so that can be brought there with a shim).
Any ideas? |

I don't think I'd use those clamp things. Maybe double up some spacers?
Try looking at this to see what 2wd guys are using

Well okalee dokalee then. El maestro has spoken.
Would one need to change to all syncro suspension architecture (arms, hubs, spindles, etc.) or could just the syncro shock and spring be fitted to the 2WD architecture?
Thanks Christopher. And thanks Brandon; that GIF perfectly captures my thoughts too!
