My 78 FI SB convert starts immediately when cold in the morning. After driving and warming up the engine then letting it sit for 10- 15 minutes it will start with much difficulty. Turns over many times before barely starting. It seems to be getting worse. Points/plugs/injectors all in good shape. All vacuum tubes in good shape and fitted properly. Any ideas? |

Does it start any better if you hold your foot to the floor when cranking?
Most likely it's flooding itself while sitting, leaky injector(s) or a bad TS2 are the usual suspects, but there's been so many cases of shitty ignition condensers lately I'd start there just because. |
