Hello all,
After some years dreaming about having my own standard..here it is !
It is a november 52 Standard zwitter, color Perlgrau, first delivery in Germany..and still there :wink: It has been restored some decades ago, still looking quite good, with couple places that will require some attention soon. I love the overall patina, making me not afraid of driving it as much as I can!
Here some pictures:
The engine is equipped with a Riechert kit using 2x28 PCI carburetors :
Plan is to drive drive drive :twisted:
Couple things planned in the near future:
-fuel lines as cooper lines from pump to carburetors
-wiring cleaning up front and removal of the front indicator lights
In the future it will be kept as original as possible (or improved in that direction), only the engine will stay with this kit as I like the way it drives.

I really like to drive this car and I am using it quite a lot.
Here some pictures from last saturday, going to a beetle meeting near Stuttgart. Was so much fun driving in convoi again!

Took the car to go skateboarding with my boy:
So amazed how good a split beetle drives, for its age it really is fantastic, I am using it quite daily currently!
